“From the past to the future” Participation Certificate
workshop organised by the Tryavna Municipality
A colleague and I were chosen to represent our school at the workshop aimed at solving the city center problems. Tryavna is a unique place combining three distinct historical periods, each of witch has left its mark on the city. The problem of road traffic is solved through a new bypass road and new parking spaces. The city center becomes fully pedestrian, thus able to accommodate the tourist flow. A general strategy for the image of the commercial parts is being proposed, limiting the possibility of advertising materials covering the facades of the historical buildings.
